The Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton is the central public authority responsible for creating and implementing policies that support sustainable economic development, competitiveness, and investment in Sarajevo Canton. The Ministry oversees key sectors including entrepreneurship and SMEs, industry, trade, tourism, energy, agriculture, forestry, water management, and natural resource development.
Through various support programmes, incentives, and strategic initiatives, the Ministry promotes innovation, digital transformation, green growth, energy efficiency, and the adoption of sustainable business practices. It works closely with businesses, municipalities, development agencies, academic institutions, and international partners to strengthen the local economy and improve the business environment.
