About the organisation:
The duties of the West Regional Development Agency are regulated by Law No. 315/2004 on regional development in Romania.
West RDA is part of the set of financial, regional, and national bodies and instruments described in Law 315/2004, as amended and supplemented by GEO 111/2004, which constitutes the national system of regional development.
ADR West:
- Ensures and is responsible, based on contracts concluded with national institutions, for the implementation, technical and financial monitoring and control of the execution of projects financed by the European Union within the framework of regional development programs and/or, as the case may be, of projects within the framework of national programs that are implemented at the regional level;
- Promotes, with the support of CDR, the region and the attraction of foreign investments;
- Develops international relations and implements European-financed projects as a beneficiary.
